Usmaan is an experienced allergy and immunology registrar with a robust background in medical education. Usmaan is actively involved in medical education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He supervises Cambridge University medical students and has delivered numerous postgraduate teaching sessions. Additionally, Usmaan has substantial experience in designing and organising teaching courses, demonstrating a strong commitment to educational excellence. He is currently carrying out a postgraduate certificate in medical education. Actively involved in clinical research, Usmaan stays at the forefront of medical advancements, integrating the latest evidence-based practices into his teaching. His significant teaching experience, research involvement, and leadership roles make him a well-rounded and knowledgeable instructor for the course.

Shuaib completed his MRCP back in 2019 and since co-founded BiteWorld, a medical education company which has taught 10,000+ doctors and students across the globe. His passion lies in bringing an innovative and fresh approach to medical education, a field that often remains outdated.
Dr Rajinder Singh Andev
Course Instructor (Rheumatology)
Rajinder is a rheumatology consultant at City Hospital in Birmingham. His specialist interests are adolescent rheumatology, vasculitis and Behcets. Rajinder brings a wealth of experience to BitePACES having held formal teaching roles at the University of Oxford and leading the PACES programme while an RCP Associate College Tutor. Having become a board member for the national Prescribing Safety Assessment, Rajinder takes time to understand examination assessment strategy so candidates can excel and achieve success.
Dr Ujaas Dawar
Course Instructor (Respiratory)
Ujaas is a respiratory consultant who has interests in lung cancer, interventional pulmonology, and pleural diseases. He is an avid educationist and believes that first part of being a doctor is being a teacher. Along with being an educational and clinical supervisor for junior doctors, Ujaas is involved with undergraduate medical teaching and is thelocal lead for respiratory module for Anglia Ruskin University. He is also a local co-lead for long term medical conditions for UCL medical students. Ujaas has a keen interest and passion for PACES teaching as being an IMG himself, he understands the challenges that junior doctors go through and is keen to help iron out the preparation.
Dr Salim Cheeroth
Course Instructor (General medicine)
Dr Salim Cheeroth is a consultant in acute and geriatric medicine at the Royal London Hospital, where he wears many hats in education including being the College Tutor. Throughout his career, Sal has had an inexhaustible energy for teaching and training. He has enthusiastically been involved in bedside PACES teaching for over 20 years, including setting up PACES courses. Sal is a Clinical Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London and co-leads a module on their Masters in Emergency and Resuscitation Medicine.
Dr. Paul Bolaji
Course Instructor (Neurology)
Dr Bolaji is a Consultant Stroke Physician at Dorset County Hospital, following the completion of his Stroke Fellowship at Wessex Deanery, Health Education England. With over a decade of experience in Neurology and General Internal Medicine, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his practice. As a co-founder of the Virtual PACES Online Academy, Dr. Bolaji has dedicated the past few years to advancing PACES education, helping to prepare future clinicians for their medical exams. He undertook a two-year Master’s degree in Healthcare Leadership at the University of Warwick, further enhancing his leadership skills in the healthcare sector. He has also been recognised as one of Southampton City’s “40 Community Legends” for his significant contributions, including coordinating the Health Hub for the Black Business, Art, and Music Festival, and Founding Songs and Nerves- a group of healthcare professionals that organises music concert for patients with brain injuries.
Dr Mark Quinn
Course Instructor (Endocrinology)
Mark is a post-CCT fellow in diabetes and endocrinology based in Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals, London. His areas of interest include endocrine oncology and medical education. He is currently completing his PhD in King’s College London where he is utilising a number of cutting-edge techniques to analyse a large number of endocrine tumours for genetic and epigenetic markers of aggressivity. Mark completed his MRCP examinations in 2016 and his speciality certificate in diabetes and endocrinology in 2021. He has been a clinical tutor for the Royal College of Physicians Ireland since 2023 where he has developed an MRCP curriculum and leads weekly teaching sessions for the international residency training programme within the RCPI. Mark has guided a large number of candidates through all stages of the MRCP examinations and is passionate about passing on his clinical experience to the next generation of doctors
Dr Junyi Zhang
Course Instructor (Respiratory)
Junyi is a senior respiratory registrar based in South London. Currently she is taking time out of programme to pursue her research interests in Pleural Disease and is enrolled on the MD(Res) programme at King's College London. Junyi has been involved in medical education since the early days of university as a Clinical Supervisor in Cambridge. She has also served on the faculty for respiratory teaching at the Bart's and The London School of Medicine and the Royal Society of Medicine. Linking her research to education, one of Junyi's proudest achievements to date was to set up, organise and deliver the South London training sessions in IPC management for the community nurses in the surrounding boroughs and improve patient care.
Dr Abhishek Ray

Dr Ray is a Senior Specialty Trainee Registrar in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, working in Surrey. Successfully completing the MRCP PACES in 2021, Abhishek has shown a strong commitment to the dual roles of clinical practice and education. Since foundation year, Abhishek has been committed to medical education, actively teaching and mentoring medical students. This dedication is recognised through the prestigious Teaching Excellence Award. Currently, Abhishek is pursuing the RCP Educator Accreditation, besides his speciality training. Known for sincerity, thoroughness, and passion, he consistently seeks to inspire future healthcare professionals and contribute clinically to the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
Dr Jacquelina Chui

Jackie has just completed her Internal Medicine Training in the North and Central Thames Deanery. She is passionate about Medical Education, having conducted bedside, seminar-based, and simulation and human factors teaching to both medical students and junior doctors. She completed her MRCP in 2023 and has since organised and taught on a local PACES teaching programme at the trust. She has an interest in Infectious Diseases and Global Health and has been the trust lead for the past three years of the Global Health Series teaching programme for foundation year trainees.
Dr Dominic Wilkins
Course Instructor (Respiratory)
Dom completed his Internal Medicine Training in the South East London deanery, and is currently undertaking a PhD at Imperial College London investigating the inflammatory pathways that drive exacerbations in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He has had a passion for medical education throughout his career, particularly in bedside teaching where he has been nominated for tutor awards by his students. He has also designed and delivered teaching courses aimed at developing the skills of IMTs. Since completing his MRCP examinations in 2022, Dom has enjoyed delivering bedside teaching sessions aimed at PACES, and guiding trainees through the process of sitting the MRCP examinations.
Dr Vishnou Mourougavelou

Vishnou currently work as an Academic Clinical Fellow in Endocrinology and Diabetes (ST4) Doctor in the North-East London Deanery. He has a passion for medical education and holds a postgraduate teaching qualification, which equips him with the necessary skills to engage and inspire learners. As someone who has had to go through the MRCP PACES clinical examination himself, he is eager to share his knowledge, foster a supportive learning environment, and is committed to helping students succeed with their exams.
Dr Chern Hsiang Choy

Chern is an experienced internal medicine registrar based in Birmingham. He is deeply passionate about cardiology and has successfully enrolled into a cardiology specialist training programme in the West Midlands. Through his work with Dr William Moody, he is responsible for establishing and managing a regional cardiac amyloidosis registry. His major accomplishment to date was to achieve the prestigious RCP Turner-Warwick lecture prize for the West Midlands region.
Dr Abisoye Akintimehin
Course Instructor (Gastroenterology)
Abisoye is currently a Gastroenterology Registrar in London. She is passionate about medical education having completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Education. She has taught medical students and junior doctors in various settings from bedside teaching to more didactic methods. Recently, she has contributed to online medical education platforms by editing and refining educational content. She has completed her MRCP and Gastroenterology Specialty Certificate Examinations.
Dr Nirali Desai

Nirali is a current internal medicine trainee based in the Southeast London deanery. She has a keen interest in medical education, notably she has worked with local faculty to organise and lead an undergraduate cardiovascular teaching course, which received the highest quantitative rating and feedback out of all hospitals in the Southeast London region. She completed her MRCP examination back in 2022 and has been involved in bedside PACES teaching sessions and examined for local mock PACES examinations.
