The Alumni Success Stories

"Excellent course"

Excellent course. I do recommend this course for all who are preparing for PACES. You will get the chance to examine the patient under exam condition. The number of candidate per patient is 2:1. You will also have some mock stations. All cases have signs. The course will improve your presentation skills and also how to pick up the clinical signs. Feedback will be given for every patient.

Dr Ali Elmdaah

"Amazing case mix"

Amazing cases mix ! Saw a lot of useful signs - really helpful for one day course ! I did it as a mock one week before exam and scored 21/24 in picking up signs (that too because I made up a sign in abdominal station).Recommended!

Dr Tahreem Grewal

"Friendly team"

Really friendly team. I attended the Intensive 1 Day course which was a well organised day. Provided a great variety of cases to learn from in preparation for paces.

Dr James Pilcher

"Comprehensive and efficient"

Very useful course, comprehensive and efficient. A variety of patients with good signs to reflect real exam. Another remarkable thing is Shuaib and the team makes every effort to support everyone throughout the exam preparation, which I never experienced in any other course and is very much appreciated.

Dr Shiny Thomas

"Eye opener"

I attended this course a week before my exam. They had a really good selection of cases. They had really rare cases as well. The course was a good eye opener. It helped sharpen my presentation skills as well. The exam is about identifying clinical signs and making a diagnosis. If you fail to make the diagnosis, chances are you will fail that station. It was at this course I saw a bilateral lung transplant for the first time.

Dr Isaac Ogyfeo

"Small groups was the highlight"

Fantastic course - small groups was the highlight. Great selection of patients with helpful examiners guiding on technique and presentation skills - an intense but high yield day

Dr Raeesa Patel

"Highly recommended"

I attended the course twice , first was to get an actual feel of the exam scenario and second whilst awaiting a seat for the exam. Both times benefitted immensely .Good cases and excellent feedback received at the end . The one day course is ideal for many out there who want to brush up on their  examination skills , pick up  clinical  signs and the mocks help keep the time.

Dr Rumman Nizam

"Very well organised"

Passed my PACES in 1st attempt with minimal prep before the four day BitePACES course. I have nothing but good things to say about the course. Excellent selection of patients/cases and very well organised and supervised course. Thank you.

Dr Hammad Akhter

"Very intimate teaching experience"

A very well run course with brilliant signs and highly experienced teachers! Passed my exam! Thank you @BitePACES!

Dr Andrew King

"Good patient mix"

Found the one day course to be really useful, nice friendly examiners who gave helpful tips and advice, good patient mix. recommend this highly

Dr Oliver Johnson

"High yield exam cases"

I attended Bite PACES the crash course and it is an excellent course with good variety of patients, focusing on the high yield exam cases, many cases had lots of signs as well as patients for the consultation station with unremarkably examination but good history taking with focus on differential diagnosis and management that commonly encountered in the new exam format.Maximum of 2 per station was helpful so that you can focus on the signs and get individualised teaching and feedback every other station rather than crowding to see signs.I think overall, it was a very helpful course that polished my skills and gave me the confidence needed for the exam

Dr Sami Fouda

"Useful course"

Useful course to see different conditions, and to talk to exam technique/discuss useful ways to approach the stations. I did it early on in my revision which I think was the best time for this course

Dr Alice Horne

"Detailed feedback"

I did the BitePACES course last September and it was great. We had the chance to see a variety of all common and important cases, also we got a very detailed feedback on examination and presentation techniques. Tutors were very knowledgeable and helpful.

Dr Reem Elfarra

"Would definitely recommend"

A fantastic course with a real chance to practice and hone one’s clinical skills before their PACES exam. I found the tutors extremely knowledgable and given the small group (2 only), it meant more time to practice in front of a tutor and also receive tailored feedback. Would definitely recommend this course!

Dr Vishnou Velou

"Knowledgeable instructors"

Great course! Well-structured, engaging, and taught by knowledgeable instructors. Would highly recommend for PACES prep :)

Dr Samra Yasin

"Absolutely loved it"

An outstanding PACES course and the best one for revision/warm up if you want to examine patients with signs. I did with a friend, got a special deal and we both absolutely loved it. Ample number of cases with findings, each one with a faculty and you get to examine every one. All the faculty members were super helpful and friendly to guide and answer exam related queries. The second half of the day was a mock exam. There also was snacks/beverages. In a nutshell 1 whole day packed with cases and learning. I would highly recommend this 1 day course to everyone.

Dr Pranesh Jain

"Excellent course"

I attended the course a week before my exam. I passed my exam with excellent score. It was very well organised course, good cases, not too difficult but more focussed on common cases in exam. All cases had a tutor to guide us through our mistakes. It wasn't exhausting as well as we had adequate time between each case. Must recommended course for final revision. Thank you guys.
