Our Testimonials

The Alumni Success Stories

"Excellent course"

Excellent course. I do recommend this course for all who are preparing for PACES. You will get the chance to examine the patient under exam condition. The number of candidate per patient is 2:1. You will also have some mock stations. All cases have signs. The course will improve your presentation skills and also how to pick up the clinical signs. Feedback will be given for every patient.

Dr Ali Elmdaah

"Highly recommended"

I attended the course twice , first was to get an actual feel of the exam scenario and second whilst awaiting a seat for the exam. Both times benefitted immensely .Good cases and excellent feedback received at the end . The one day course is ideal for many out there who want to brush up on their  examination skills , pick up  clinical  signs and the mocks help keep the time.

Dr Rumman Nizam

"Very intimate teaching experience"

A very well run course with brilliant signs and highly experienced teachers! Passed my exam! Thank you @BitePACES!

Dr Andrew King

"High yield exam cases"

I attended Bite PACES the crash course and it is an excellent course with good variety of patients, focusing on the high yield exam cases, many cases had lots of signs as well as patients for the consultation station with unremarkably examination but good history taking with focus on differential diagnosis and management that commonly encountered in the new exam format.Maximum of 2 per station was helpful so that you can focus on the signs and get individualised teaching and feedback every other station rather than crowding to see signs.I think overall, it was a very helpful course that polished my skills and gave me the confidence needed for the exam

Dr Sami Fouda

"Useful course"

Useful course to see different conditions, and to talk to exam technique/discuss useful ways to approach the stations. I did it early on in my revision which I think was the best time for this course

Dr Alice Horne

"Would definitely recommend"

A fantastic course with a real chance to practice and hone one’s clinical skills before their PACES exam. I found the tutors extremely knowledgable and given the small group (2 only), it meant more time to practice in front of a tutor and also receive tailored feedback. Would definitely recommend this course!

Dr Vishnou Velou

"Knowledgeable instructors"

Great course! Well-structured, engaging, and taught by knowledgeable instructors. Would highly recommend for PACES prep :)

Dr Samra Yasin

"Absolutely loved it"

An outstanding PACES course and the best one for revision/warm up if you want to examine patients with signs. I did with a friend, got a special deal and we both absolutely loved it. Ample number of cases with findings, each one with a faculty and you get to examine every one. All the faculty members were super helpful and friendly to guide and answer exam related queries. The second half of the day was a mock exam. There also was snacks/beverages. In a nutshell 1 whole day packed with cases and learning. I would highly recommend this 1 day course to everyone.

Dr Pranesh Jain

"Excellent course"

I attended the course a week before my exam. I passed my exam with excellent score. It was very well organised course, good cases, not too difficult but more focussed on common cases in exam. All cases had a tutor to guide us through our mistakes. It wasn't exhausting as well as we had adequate time between each case. Must recommended course for final revision. Thank you guys.

Frequently Asked Questions

Support

Why should I attend your course over other course?
Having been on PACES courses before, we know that sometimes things can get a bit crowded with too many candidates and not enough instructors. At BitePACES, we pride ourselves on small group teaching with a patient and consultant / SpR focusing on your examination and viva.

We offer flexibility. We offer an intensive 1-day course full of high-yield examination cases or a comprehensive 4-day course covering absolutely everything!
What is the difference between your intensive and comprehensive courses?
Our 1-Day Intensive Course covers all examination stations and clinical consultations. You'll interact with approximately 16 patients, each paired with a dedicated tutor for personalised feedback. Note: communication skills are not included in this course.

Our 4-Day Comprehensive Course covers everything in depth! You'll see around 40 patients and receive detailed clinical consultation training. The fourth day is conducted virtually, focusing solely on communication skills through common role-play scenarios, complete with constructive feedback and recordings of your performance.
Can the course fee be covered by my study budget?
As per Health Education England (HEE), funding is available for MRCP courses providing you are an internal medical trainee and get permission from your Head of School or Training Programme Director.

More information can be found here. Trust grade doctors may or may not be able to get funding.

If you need any support with acquiring study budget, get in touch and we can write a supporting letter.
Do you have a refund policy?
Requests for refunds received more than 4 weeks before the course will be given a full refund. Up until a week before the course date, half a refund will be provided upon request. No refunds will be given within 1 week of the course.

For those who attend the course and aren't happy with the teaching, we will offer your money back! This is providing you submit a request within 48 hours and provide a reasonable reason as to why the course didn't meet your expectations.
What does post-course support involve?
We are committed to your success even after the course concludes. Our post-course support includes exclusive webinars, group check-ins with a faculty member, 1:1 mentorship if you do not pass the exam, and networking opportunities with our alumni and faculty!
